The harbour has changed a lot. It is called a marina now, with lots of yachts.

where that paddle steamer is in the pic was where jackie philp a had the mussel boat “Leslie” and Gibby Atkinson had the “Orsova” Years later Mr Rossiiter, my art teacher at tayport primary school. ( 51 castle street ) launched his home built chinese junk and kept it there. Dont know if it ever sailied out of the harbour.. he spent years building it and had to demolish his garden wall and stop the traffic in Castle Street to crane it out the back of his garden.

Mr Rossiiter mind o his (junk boat) it sank and was under water in the harbour for weeks lol
