If I am not mistaken, this picture shows, on the right, 80 Castle Street. In 1937, it was occupied by my parents, Jeek and Nell Johnstone. They ran a sweetie shop, right hand window, and a small cafe, left hand window. Jeek also had a horse and cart and went round the town selling vegetables. At the bottom of the back garden was the Masonic Hall in which Polish soldiers were billetted in the early years of the war.

Would #82 be to the right of the photo? My grgrandfather Robert Smith died there in 1944. Does anyone remember the Smith family who before living at Castle St. lived at Scotscraig?
