Constance was born in 1939 at 64 Castle Street (Dr William Paton in attendance) where she lived with her two sisters, Rachel and Phyllis. Her Father was the master butcher in Tay Street-well known for his sausages, she recalled. Constance moved to the USA in 1964. Phyllis currently lives in Edinburgh.
62 Castle Street was the sweetie shop of her aunt (Father’s sister) Nancy (Agnes) Greig. Aunty Nancy died in 1965 or 1966 and my sister and her husband Alan Hill (past captain of Scotscraig) bought both the sweetie shop, and the cottage next door. They remodelled it to what it looks like now. (62 and 64).
