Stummbled on to your site by chance. Opened up local history section and a million memories came flooding back. My mother Alice Brown nee Cooper was born in Tayport and later moved to Coventry, where I was born. Our family spend many summers up in Tayport. Seeing the photos was great. My aunt and two uncles still live there, Beatrice Burns, Chic Cooper and Jack Cooper.
I am planning a visit early next year and my children (21 & 23 ) are comming with me. I look forward to showing them about Tayport and its surrounding area. I would love to hear fron any locals, especially if you know/knew the Cooper family.
