My recollection is that the station closed years before 1966.. maybe 1962 not 1966. Strange how age fuddles the memory…

Yes it would have been 66. I remember the first and last Thursday every month waiting for the driver to come back from the Lodge to take us all back to Dundee. Dad told me all the Dundee guys would sit in the lodge watchim him cos soon as he finished his last pint it was a mad dash to get on board train before he drove off.
