My great, great grandmother Elizabeth Coss (nee Urch from Weston-Super-Mare)ran a small shop in the latter part of the 1800s from her house in Nelson Street - just about where the girls are standing in the picture. She was widowed very young when my gr. gr. grandfather died of diabetes aged 32 leaving her to raise their 4 sons alone. My grandad, Dave Coss, married local girl Isabella Ness and my mum still lives in the town.

My husband and I (Andy and Anne Lowe) have lived at Number 13 Nelson Street for 21 years. Can anyone shed light on previous owners about 1830-1970?

AGRA HOUSE and the surname PEET
My grandparents lived in Agra House from about 1927 until 1934/35. I am related to the late Min Peat. The little boy someone (above) played with during summer holidays, may have been my brother. Please email me for further details - barony3@yahoo.com
