Henry E. Harley (2006-03-17)

My grandfather Charles Harley came to Canada from Tayport somewhere around 1900 +(-). I see there is an Anne Harley in this picture. Do you have names and address of Harleys in Tayport that I might try to find out more about my ancestors?

William turner (2008-11-28)

There were a number of Harleys in Tayport, my step father, Peter had a brother and sister, both emigrated , his older brother went to Australia with his wife and children and as far as I know are still there.Dorothy , the youngest ,married Ian Rennie and went to NZealand where he worked in the Forestry commission. They still live there and are are on south Island. I spoke to her in 2007 when in NZ on a visit, Her parents Martha and Peter are both dead now. As is my step father (1986). He is buried in vicarsford just outside tayport.

Hi William- I just recently caught up with Dorothy and Ian- she is a cousin to my husband David Harley- his father immigrated to Australia in 1968. Am I to guess you were Dorothy’s step brother? We visited Tayport in 1982 and stayed with Peg and Sam Lawson.

Sandra Clark (2012-06-15)

Delwyn Bastian went to Hong Kong with her dad and mum. She was a close friend but we lost touch. Where is Delwyn now? My dad was the cinema manager Bobby Clark and I was Sandra. Anyone remember ?
