unfortunatly Donald Adam is no longer with us. I believe his mum and brother live in Edinburgh.

Yes, unfortunately Donald died in 1995, succumbing to cancer leaving a wife and two lovely kids.
Robert and Mum do live in Edinburgh.
The rest of the family have very fond memories of Donald and his friends in the Band.

Good to see the old timers again. I went to school with Grant Ness & played BBb bass with his dad in the 1950’s. I now live in Northumberland and play double bass with the Gateshead School Music Service, despite having retired 3 years ago. As a reslt of my involvement, my eldest daughter is now a music teacher, my eldest son-in-law is a gifted euph. player and my second grandson plays with Beaumaris Band. What on earth have I started???
